These Terms are between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (ABN [ABN]) (we, us, our), the provider of WorkshopBook — an online booking and workshop management platform for Australian automotive workshops.
You agree not to:
When a customer books through a workshop's page, the workshop is the data controller for that booking and is responsible for fulfilling the service. We provide the booking and communication infrastructure but do not perform automotive services.
Workshops subscribe to WorkshopBook on a recurring basis (typically monthly). Trial length, pricing, and refund policy are set out on the pricing page and at checkout. Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the billing portal in your manager dashboard.
Prices are in AUD and [include/exclude] GST. [Trial length: X days].
We send booking confirmations, reminders, follow-up emails, billing notices, and operational service announcements. Follow-up emails (e.g. review requests) include an unsubscribe link. Booking confirmations and reminders are operational and continue to send while you have active bookings.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, incidents, and third-party outages may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses arising from these.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law, with reasonable notice where possible.
You retain ownership of the data you put into WorkshopBook. We provide reasonable export tools where technically feasible. After account termination, we may retain data for a reasonable period to meet legal and audit obligations.
Our handling of personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special losses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app message before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE/TERRITORY], Australia. Before starting court proceedings, each party will use reasonable efforts to resolve disputes by good-faith negotiation.
